There are heaps of hotels around here. The is a couple of really nice places liek the Sheraton and the hotel and OCT east which are about 1500 RMB per night. There are also ones around my place for about 500 RMB per night. With summer coming prices are going up. There are heaps around Daimeisha - which is where OCT east is.

- Hi Kamal - thanks for the note. I'm in Telecom / networking business. And yes, I was in India a few years ago talking BSNL, VSNL ... It's a great experience. I own a company in US, and we have a factory in Baoan - currently going through some expansion. I'll be in Shenzhen mid-April, perhaps we can meet - saw you are in Baoan too.

- Thanks for this Kamal. I live in Shekou, which is the best one there? And also, are these cooks Indian or from Bangladesh? My Indian friends in Sweden hate going to restaurants there because the cooks are all Bangladeshis cooking very sweet food...
